Lakeshore RV Park Office Clerk (Seasonal Full-Time)

POSITION DETAILS

Seasonal Position: 5 Months, Start Date: 5/16/2026, End Date: 9/30/2026
Hours: 40 Hours/Week, 800 hours total
Schedule: This position requires shift work Monday through Sunday, including evenings and holidays. Scheduled hours may fall between 7am and midnight, depending on staffing needs.

Hourly Wage: $19.62 - $24.03

POSITION PURPOSE

This person carries out the daily duties of office worker/reservationist by providing service for the purpose of promoting return business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Make RV Park and Marina reservations, changes, and cancellations using a computer.
  • Collect fees and make change.
  • Explain and enforce rules and regulations of the RV Park
  • Promote positive customer service

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greeting the public using positive public relations and image to the City’s benefit
  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the office as scheduled.
  • Use specialized computer software program to make reservations for the RV Park and Marina.
  • Answering the phone in a polite and professional manner using good public relations.
  • Responsible for the registration and check-out of guests
  • Advise public of rules and regulations related to use of the RV Park and its facilities
  • Provide knowledge of the area and events to the public.
  • Collect and receipt all park fees.
  • Reconcile daily work using computer program and cash drawer.
  • Responsible for documenting all complaints and accidents according to procedure.
  • Responsible for taking detailed messages making sure they are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for making an RV Site Check to compare Registrations with Campers in RV Park.
  • Responsible for the daily cleaning and neat appearance of the registration office inside and out.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment and may have some exposure to all types of weather conditions.

  • Employee is subject to shift work and working weekends and on all major holidays

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires the ability to understand and speak English.
  • Must be able to hear instructions given.
  • Must be able to operate a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to see for traffic control.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

  • Ability to work closely with public in a positive manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work individually and stay on task without constant supervision
  • Ability to enforce rules and regulations related to use of the RV Park
  • Ability to use Excel and Microsoft word programs
  • Ability to operate phone in a clear and understandable voice
  • Ability to accurately count out change
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as computer, adding machine, copier, fax machine.
  • Ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
  • Knowledge of park policies and rules
  • Knowledge of opening and closing procedures
  • Knowledge of Chelan area to inform public of history, events, activities, and services

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License with driving record free from serious or frequent violations
  • CPR and First Aid Certificates
